Don,

Thanks for sharing your story. Understand the frustrations but let me assure you 100%, in under 6 months time you will be able to stop online gambling completely thanks to GAMSTOP.

I saw the presentation a few weeks ago at the Gambling Commission and by filling in ONE online form you will be unable to ever gamble again (if you choose to of course)

Until then, please use the resources available to you at http://www.begambleaware.org and http://www.gamcare.org.uk

Hey @donvitia64, I'm so sorry to hear about that. But in the end money is just a paper. And your life is something you only get to experience once, especially when you have 2 daughters.

We all fuck up in our lives, many times, but never ever is it worth to take your own life. If you've been faced by similar issues before, remember on how you stayed strong for yourself and your daughters which in itself is worth more than any money could ever bring you.

If you can, ask your friends or parents to help you through it (but first be honest with them on what you're going through so they can understand the importance and know how to help). Give the control of money to a person you really trust. That's my advice.

So stay strong, we are here to support you on your way. Step by step you can make it out of this, even if it means that you'll have to give up on some things and have some dark months ahead, but in the end it'll be worth it and you'll be proud of yourself that you succeeded.

Donvitia my man, thanks for sharing. If anything this'll be valuable to read for others.

You're saying this happened before, you tried to take your life 3 times this year due to gambling. Are you getting professional help with this? If not, do you feel it's necessary?

Power to you man, much love

Most of us have been there mate. I had a flow of big wins in the beginning of this year and then put most of it back in. You are not the only one - believe me. The only way to stop this is to set deposit limits at every single casino you register to. This will prevent you from depositing when the 'tilt' kicks in.

Do not even think about taking your life because of monetary losses - it is not worth it. Every morning when you wake up, you should allow yourself 10 minutes of grief, no more. Start planning on how to save the money and perhaps find a part-time job to try and earn at least some of it back. It will take time - of course, but eventually, you will start dealing with it.

Best of luck mate and remember, you are not the only one there who experienced such losses, as people do on the daily basis.

I will suggest you ask yourself. Too your daughters whats most importen there dad or whatever amount in the world? Somethings when they are lost , never comes back but money is not one of them. Your life is far more valuable.

Now regarding the finacial issues, there are no good answer. First sugestion make max opt out from all casino live and online. I presume your from the UK since you wrote pounds. Uk have some of the stricter regulation regarding gambling addiction where you are able close acess on the diffrent sites, and many diffrent gambling aware programs. Find the best and start getting help.

you have too also unsucribe any emails recivd from any casino. Then i whould suggest you nead to find someone else that can help you with managing the bills for some time. Have your earnings\ wager transferd directly into this person account monthly, where all the regular bills and down payment on your loans are paid byt his person before the rest is paid out into your account. This person can be a spouse, parents sibling or someone else that you greatly trust.

Btw the fact that you admit haveing a gambling addiction and still had managed to keep 15000 pounds in saveing show that its posible to do it once agein with right help.

On a stricter note you should also take responsibility for what you have done and inform other effected in order to lessen the guilt thats eating you up. Im sure they whould rather have you tell them and find a solution then trying to take the "easy way out" thats always far worse too your loved once.

I wish you you good luck and hope with enough time you can start to see some light in the end of the road once agein.
