Talking with bank in norway to check for money transfer

Hello. I have a cashout, that was approved and now it has gone 7 work days without the money coming. I had a smaller cashout, and then the money was there after just two days. The casino says it went as normal from them, and gave me a code i could use when contacting my bank. My problem is that this is in norway and im not sure what i can say when talking to the bank. Can i say the money is from casino? How do i communicate this code too them if i cant say its from a casino? Can norwegian banks stop my cashout and has it happened to anyone of you? Ok, hope you understand and can help me :)

Hi.

Under normal circumstances, when the casino (a reputable one) says it's good on their end, it is. Most likely the money is being blocked from entering your account, and the Norwegian banks are obligated to do so with any funds that they know - or suspect - stems from gaming.

Yes, you can talk to the bank and give them this code which allows them to track the transaction. Yes, it will be a bit awkward when talking to the bank, but they handle queries like this on a daily basis - so go ahead and ask them. The worst thing that could happen is that they tell you the money ain't gon' arrive on your account.

Instead of waiting around for money that most likely won't arrive - get moving today. The Casino will have to find a different way to send you the money - and are usually good at doing so quickly once this problem occurs.

note: some time's transactions are "orphaned" due to technical glitches, or a very high volume of transactions in the banking system. Giving the bank the code will allow them to find it more easily.

Thanks for fast and good answer :)

Ive been in contact with both bank and support, so ball is rolling. Bank hadnt received the money, so now im waiting for the casino too look into it.

We will see..

I had recommended you to find another solution. I had the same problem, Norwegian banks say they no longer accept money from a casino. I had to use Skrill.

PS. I use DNB

Yes, but the bank accepted a transfer just a few days before this one. The first one was only 100e and this last one 900e. The weird thing is that bank say no money has come into the system and casino says the transfer went as it should. Problem with skrill is that i cant deposit with it. Maby they can pay out there though ?

We will see, money might be in no mans land, in the land where no one takes responsibilty

Will see

Please note that the information you get depends on the experience of the bank-representative you talked to.

Also, casinos make use of several bank accounts to be able to operate in different markets. Sometimes they have to use a different one than the one you got your first transfer from, depending on their balances.

Then there's also the case of currency exchange, which can halt things for a few days. And if that's not the case, we have this beast called Anti Money Laundering. Any amount over 5k NOK is reported to the authorities, and foreign currency exchange is always vetted extra.

If you try creating a bank account in Norway today, you will have to declare whether or not you are planning to send to- or receive money from abroad, the ca. amount, and roughly how many transactions.

The case of remote gambling venues and Norwegian banks is a cat and mouse game. It really sucks when you don't get the money in time, but serious operators will find a way to help you out. Just keep "pestering" them, as it's their job to get you your damn money ;)

PS: Money left in "no mans land" will always be found at some point :)

Its not going very fast with them.

Let me see if I know anyone who knows anyone who knows anyone.

@allreven

I'm still optimistic, albeit there's proven to be problems with online casinos operating out of Curacao. I don't know about TTR casino, but honestly, I'm a sceptic when it comes to these..  and I was quite surprised when I saw a Norwegian with an account there.

Would you mind sharing with me how this came to be? Have you checked out our recommended online casinos here on CasinoGrounds?

I am also selfexluded from nearly every casino there is, and that fortunately stops me from joining new ones, cause they are connected all of them.

I am aware of youre recommandations. I only have two casinoes im not selfexluded and that is leovegas and royal panda. But since i have deposit limits there, i went through all my previous casinoes and i found ttr and i wasnt selfexluded there. Probably will have to do that.

How are you able to deposit to skrill and then to gambling from DNB? I'm unable to do that

You can use Paysafecard on Skrill and then deposit to casino from Skrill.

You can deposit money on Betsson via Visa card. It works for me, used today 13.06.2019, but only on betsson i think

So when you withdraw from the casino to skrill, there's no block preventing the money that came from the casino to skrill to then get to your DNB bank account?
