So I've had 5 bonuses and they have all lost on the first question, from 85% correct etc, is this a bug on the BTG end?

Not a bug, its a Feature.

This happened to me.

The same thing about 5x in a row, with 82% or higher in the first question.

luck will even out if you get brave on this slot. I went from 12 spins to 20 spins with a 50/50 and then 40% 30% and 26%

It's predetermined anyway.

It isn't. It can't be because the user has the option of walking away, so they can't generate the result for choosing an answer until you click it, otherwise you'd be able to look at the game traffic and know if you were going to be correct or not (and walk away if not). In fact, BTG are one of the few providers who hit the server for every single spin, even the ones they don't have to (I.E they could generate the results for all of the free spins up front like most providers, but actually they do them one by one).
