Betsson refusing to payout

Hi, I logged into an old account on Betsson and started playing on sports with a bonus.

I was winning hardcore on World championships, and in the end i had 11 600 NOK on the account done wagered. (about 1160 euro)

 

Then, I was going to withdraw my money and they kept stalling on everything. Every document they needed I provided and suddenly they froze my account.

After a shit ton of back and forth, they have now decided not to withdraw the money because there was a typo in birthday when i registered the account, they won't give me the registered information. But it's just a SMALL typo, thats the reason they wont withdraw the money!

 

Can anyone please help? Or someone has problems like this before and solved it? Tips are deeply appreciated.

Means i presses the wrong button, my birthdate is 09.02.97, and i pressed 08.02.97

I'm really not sure if I have another account since i created this account back in 2014, but the credit card I always use did work so I dunno. 

 

I'm waiting on an email from them aswell regarding the issue where they will explain further..

@Sninnyou created the account in 2014? Wouldn’t that have made you only 17 at the time? Surely that would be against t&c as thought you have to be 18 to sign up for sites or is that different where you love?

How were you able to create an account in 2014 as you have to be over 18 to even create one? If it's just a typo and everything else is correct they should defo be paying out.

I can't log into the account to see the details, but I might have set my age born in 1996 so I could create one. But i checked the history before i started playing, and I have never done a deposit or played on it until now, where i was of age.

You still breached the terms, that u agreed to not breach when signing up. Doesn't matter if u deposited or didn't. But how you're account was not suspended or deleted is beyond me.

So first you say you changed the date accidentaly to :

I understand you want to get your money, however in this case I don't think you can do anything. You *seemingly* created account when you were underage. In all those years you haven't tried even once to verify your account (which would fail by the way, hence this situation wouldn't occur)?

I think Betsson is doing the right thing in this case by locking the account.

All I’m gonna say is good luck trying to get the money seems your in breach of t&c I’m pretty sure people have lost money for less but lying about your age to create an account is a pretty big no no especially as casinos go through kyc more frequently now. One question why would you create an account to then not play for so long? If you’d waited till after you turned 18 and it had a been a simple typo you may have had more of a case

Yeah i see your point of view. I just think its pretty lame that Betsson is using every possible way they can to not withdraw the money.

We all know it's a big system, and I think they can take this situation in discretion regarding I am of age when i deposited and played.

Find it pretty sad that I have to go through so much bureaucracy for pretty much a simple matter of 1100 euros which is a drop in the ocean for Betsson.

it should of not even be opened by betsson because you were underage at the time of registering so the it should of been an automated system that refuses you because they know that you need to be 18+ to play so if a user registers with a underage account it should automatically bar it / not allow it to register.

state that you didn't know you had to be over 18 to register as it allowed u anyway... (even you know full well you need to be 18+ this could just help you get your money as casinos make millions each year it would be unfair for a small ish withdrawal).

say that betsson still allowed me to use the account after several years but not verified and stuff

they could actually face legal action because they allowed you to register and and keep an account for several years. then stall a withdrawal.

Hello everyone, after a lot of back and forth I think they made the most logical decision. With the conclusion that all the activity on my account was actually when I was 18, they are willing to withdraw the money. Thanks for all the help!

BE CAREFUL WITH BETSSON THEY REFUSE TO PAYOUT! Here is my experience:

I am writing from Norway and I was regularly betting in Betsson. Unfortunately, I have to say I also thought It was a great betting page until they have failed to pay my withdrawals. In fact I have made 2 withdrawals in May and June and both are still pending for an amount of 2500 NOK. At some point they recognised they had some problems with the system, but now they deny it and it is more than 3 months already since I am waiting to be paid.  This is not serious at all and I would not risk my money with Betsson again. They take your money very fast but it will never be guaranteed you will get it back despite they claim the withdrawals are done in a 100% of cases. I have been claiming my money for a long time now and the only thing they say is the money was transferred to me and I should prove I did not get it. So they are requesting my accounts information. To conclude, I would recommend you to choose another page to play. I hope this is useful for anyone thinking of gaming or betting for the first time. Best, Pablo
