Casino Grounds Certification

Have a small idea been so much talk about streamers using fake money so why not have like a little Casino Ground certified list or something.

 

Streamers who can proudly wear a CG certified logo or something that means that they have proved to you that they play with real money.  by showing deposit/withdrawals or something like that.

 

Feel like people who have nothing to hide wouldnt mind but maybe its too much?

 

I dunno just felt like we could start sorting out some fake players.

 

Maybe its a horrible idea or a start of an idea that could be improved in many ways?

uhh... i just hate all this fake shit talk. those people stream for the entertainment. they should have no reasons to prove anything to anyone imo..

It's a nice idea Andy Fox but we are not the police of Twitch  We do however encourage all the streamers to be transparent and honest with the viewers and promote responsible gambling.

Good idea Andy, we actually discussed putting a "real money badge" on people that we can verify are playing with their own money but that would have to involve a lot of random checkups which people might not appreciate. All we can guarantee right now is that people tied to Casinogrounds will always play with real money and be honest towards the viewers.

Nuqqiip there have been some players using fake money.

 

But the idea was not sole about forcing peoole to do this but if they want to they can on their own will.

 

And also it would bring CG to become something moore central and grow alot to a safe zone for streamers and so.

 

Like i said I dont know might be a srupid idea or a start of another one.

 

I was really thinking of starting stream myself but my highrolling days are over and now I only play for fun.

 

I dont think anyone would belive I was using real money at the level I was playing on before I calmed down so maybe it could be a way for people who feels like they get acused alot or so to proof it without sharing withdrawals etc to the world. and for other streamers aswell without any force and 100% free will.

as skylined said you cant be the police of the whole of twitch and there will be people who are genuine not affiliated with this site who are legit too.

 

my idea wud be for streamers to have a CG logo watermark on their streams which shows the affiliation with this site so if you trust this site you can trust the streamers

It's a good idea for sure, the problem has been that the casinos have accepted it in the past and still do in some cases. My belief is that they don't care about the badwill (they might not even think it creates badwill) becouse the affiliates bring them a lot of new players and many of the streamers run quite big affiliate bussinesses outside of the stream which gives them leverage. 

I tried explaining to casinos that have approached me and that have previously been giving streamers shady deals of how much badwill it creates, thankfully many have listened and won't ever bring in fake money streamers again.

Give me a heads up if you start streaming, sounds like it would be fun to watch  If you really wanted to I could vouch for you incase you agree to let me check up on the transactions (if you play at a trusted brand that probably wouldn't be necessary though)

There are a lot of streamers that arn't tied to CG that are geniune for sure. The main thing that is important to me when it comes to streaming is to be honest with the viewers no matter what type of deal you have, if they are alright with it they will stick around otherwise they are always free to watch someone else.

Watermark could also be something to discuss

Why can't it just be made illegal to stream with fake money?? I'm sure its been mentioned before but surely its breaking some kind of rules? I've been offered fake money deals at 3 casino's and all of them are big names but dont yet have a streamer attached to them. I assume they offered these deals without really knowing the implications or the consequences of such a deal!

Streaming niche is relatively new for the Casinos and for the authorities and frankly I think a lot of people just don't care as the mass of people coming to see Casino streams are small. I don't think we'll ever see this kind of thing happening.

I trust that you made these casinos that made you the offer aware of the implications and that it could dent their reputation?

Look at the "casino" that offers just play n go slots (I won't name it in case it is against the rules here) but I wouldn't want to play there knowing that they draw players to their casinos by means of offering streamers fake money. I am sure that I am not the only one.

I did but to be honest I dont think they cared about the casino's reputation, but more about making as much money as possible using as little resources as possible! I think I have mentioned these casinos to a few of the casino grounds people via skype a while ago to see if anyone was streaming from them, which there werent. Obviously its not proof that if someone does stream from one of those sites in the future that it is fake money as they also offered other types of deals not involving fake money, but I have saved the emails as a couple of them were quite detailed so will be interesting if someone does start to stream from one of them.

I agree to a certain extent . I think this whole trying to catch out the fake streamers thing is taken too far . Because it ends up even streamers like Kim have rumours made against them like a recent one on casinomeister . Let the fake streamers be fake . You can tell anyway because they don't convey the same tension/excitement/pain when winning big or losing their bankroll  

 Ultimately , I think the priority should be to educate the casual gambler that the casino world has a LOT of dodgy practises in it and you need to be very careful where you sign up to deposit and play and careful with checking terms and conditions especially when playing with bonuses . Playing at riggedcasino.com just because some random streamer is winning big there and offering you a 500% sign up bonus with 2 million freespins is obviously not a good idea
