Concidering to quit casino

Hello fellow casino friends!

I have a kinda sad topic today, and even tho I might not be the most active on this forum, I still "hope" someone can relate to this. I have been playing casino active for about two years now, of course with various luck as everyone else. But lately, the luck has stopped completly.. And thats a shame, but its like the big streamers say: "when the fun stops, stop."

The one thing i simply can't understand is how the bad luck simply will not turn around in some cases. I'm a low roller, and usally only deposit between 20-50 euros per deposit. Even tho I play with 0,2-0,4 bets, i can play and not win my money back for most at the time, and thats really frustrating. I know, casinos is a losing game, but for me as a student and a worker with a low salary, its tempting to try out the exciting casinos and try to make money. Maybe in some place in the future, when my income is more stable, I will give it another go :4head:

But now its enough - and even tho I've made more losses than profit, I can still look back at some decent withdrawals :D

1st: 20 euro deposit at Thrills casino - ended up with a 1500 euro withdrawal in total
2nd: 150 euro deposit at Joreels - 1500 euros withdrawal
3rd: 10 euro depoit at Casumo - 1000 euro withdrawal

Please feel free to give ur comments about this, as I am the only guy of my friends to play casino. I know that it might sound like a topic to make me seem like i feel sorry for myself, but in the end I've just made up my mind that its for the best to stop playing.

I know exactly how you're feeling as i've experienced the same myselfe. It's over 10 years since i played slots for the first time, but then i played occacionally small bets, mabye i deposted €50 once every two months or so, didnt win much. It was around 2 years ago i started to play "seriously". I was on a good run and in very much profit. This went on for seveal months, untill i hit a ice-cold period in oktober 2017 - january 2018. I mean, going from hot sessions to absolutely nothing. The average bonus/freespins where rarely, and when i first got one, they paid nothing. I changed casinos, took new welcome bonuses to get more funds to play, but i lost it faster than possible to think, and that even if i played at max €1 betsizes. You always hit short cold periods, and always expect it to turn, but suddenly it never turns, but you keep telling yourselfe that "the cold session has been so long now, it has to turn", and you keep depositing. I was very close to quit and just a few clicks away from closing all my accounts, but i took some minor breaks and just played the RIZK RACE to mabye get a few wins from there. In february 2018 i started to get a few wins again (then on very small stakes ofcourse), and slowely since then i've started to get back to "normal". Norman means in long time i'm break even. Not running HOT, but not cold either. The turnaround was the wheel on RIZK i manage to get the jackpot winning €2000, and suddenly my "casino wallet" got a boost, and since then i've manage to keep that balance. I play for fun, but always dreaming for that HUGE hit to drop some time :)

I'm not saying you shouldnt quit, just saying that i've been there you are and i know how you're feeling. And even if the streamers says that when you loose you should stop, its not just as easy as that, is it?

@pausefisk thanks for the feedback! I’ve had cold and hot periods myself, but in the end the «i can win it back» feelings takes over.. I know that somewhere in the future it will turn around, hopefully, but i’ve reached a stage now where I feel like its time to «chill out». Save some money for a change maybe, haha:P

I’ve been watching the popular streamers, which seems to have endless pockets of money - which I don’t have, and sincerly don’t think they have eighter. But the difference between them playing and like us other «huge win hunters» is astronomical (if thats a fair preference, haha).

Its not going to be easy to just give it all up at first, but i will definitly be more responible with my money in the future. Not be like «all in for nothing» - like i stupid enough have done several times..

I think - and hope, that a pause MAYBE might be the right thing right now at this stage, and who knows, maybe a big win awaits around the corner -_-

Go by your gut feeling. Reading your first post in this topic tells me that you should have a long break from gambling. Take a break, find some other interesting stuff to do and perhaps go back to gambling again seeing how you feel about it having not played for a few months or so.

@Janolavn hi there jan, ive read what you have said and what i will say is you have to take a step back, close your accounts, you have recognized you are sick of it. Its becoming unafordable.

If you trully have the strength walk away, and i will repeat that, walk away now. You are at a junction with gambling and i no its got such a pull on the mind in wanting to play. But if you do not stop now and get away from it you never will.

So at that junction turn the right way. And step away from gambling. It will still be here in the future. But the mindset you are in at this moment in time is you have had enough and want to stop, walk away. So your mind is at its most powerful now.

What i find being a gambler for 21 years although i dont gamble as much now the feelings stay with a person through there life.and certain things are looked at from a gambling perspective. The feeling is just thare. It may be different with other people.

You must fight jan to step away my friend now and dont look back. As i say gambling will still be here when you decide to come back if you do.

Alot of people will support you on this forum and elsewhare to do the right thing. And the right thing is walk away now because you want to. Fight and have the will to do it jan. Thanks for sharing your position in life with us here and good luck to you.
