Where to play

American Roulette by Evolution Gaming is a roulette game that was launched in November of 2017, with the table located in their very own studio in Riga. The American Roulette game happens to be different from European roulette in several different ways, however, the biggest difference is of course that it has an additional double zero “00” pocket on the wheel being used. This comes in addition to the standard zero pockets, meaning there are two different zero pockets in this version. What this means for you as a player, is that it makes the casino operator's betting margin higher than it is in the traditional European roulette.

Evolution Gaming has however made sure to compensate for this by offering lower betting limits. American Roulette happens to be one of the few games where you will be able to play for half of a currency. In addition to this, you will also be seeing that the game has a “Five Bet” option which has become very popular already. Some good news for players on the go, the game can be accessed through both tablets and mobiles in addition to your standard desktop computer. The game also happens to be licensed and regulated by several regulatory bodies, including the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and also the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

How to Play

With the exception of the layout on the table itself, American Roulette is pretty much the same as European Roulette, including the process of placing bets throughout the game. The game starts off with you selecting chips depending on the bet size you wish to place, followed by you placing them on the table. The interface will be showing you a history of the most popular recent winning numbers in addition to the odd/even numbers and red/black result ratio.

After each player has placed their bets, the dealer will continue to spin the wheel in one direction while spinning the roulette ball in the opposite direction. Players are able to remove or change bets even after the wheel has started spinning, but will be stopped once the dealer has said “no more bets”.

The wheel in American Roulette has a total of 38 pockets with numbers starting at 1 going up to 36 with the addition of a 0 and a 00. The single and double zeros are both green while the remaining numbers on the wheel alternate in black and red. The objective of the game is to guess which pocket the ball will land in once the wheel has stopped spinning.

In addition to placing a bet on a single number on the wheel, you will also be able to place bets on a number of different outside and inside bets. These options include bets such as high or low numbers, red or black pockets, and also even and odds numbers. You will also be able to bet on a total of six different 12-number bets or a Five Bet which allows you to cover 5 different betting fields with one chip.
